Job Summary:

The General Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Management

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• Post journal entries and ensure accurate financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Fixed Asset Management

• Maintain and update fixed asset register.
• Calculate and record depreciation.

Inventory Accounting (if applicable)

• Coordinate with inventory team for reconciliation and costing.
