Gender affirming Care Clinical Lead

FTE: 0.2, on contract.

We are seeking a Clinical Advisor with interest and experience in establishing a community-based gender affirming hormone therapy assessment pathway for the Southern Region. The role is suitable for a General Practitioner or a Nurse Practitioner with experience in gender affirming care and is approximately 0.2 FTE, fixed-term (up to three years) contract, with flexibility to be based anywhere within the Southern region.

It will involve establishing, connecting and supporting a local community based network of skilled providers who can accept referrals from colleagues for adults (18+) expressing desire for Gender Affning Hormone Treatment, under an informed consent process and supporting the primary care team to manage their own patients.
