GCSE SEN Outreach Tutor

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated GCSE SEN Tutor to provide bespoke 1:1 tuition to students with Special Educational Needs in the HP21 area.

As a GCSE SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum, adapting your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs. Your work will focus on closing educational gaps, improving engagement, and building confidence in learners who may have experienced barriers to education.

Many of the pupils you will support may have been out of formal education for an extended period and could display low confidence or heightened anxiety around learning. You will play a key role in re-engaging them, establishing routine, and supporting both academic progress and emotional well being.
