Salary: From £30,000 per annum plus £5,000 London Weighting

Role Overview
We are recruiting a committed and adaptable Functional Skills Cover Tutor to deliver high-quality education within a custodial environment at HMP Thameside.
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will work with small groups of prison-based learners, supporting them to develop their English, employability skills and core learning behaviours. You will also provide generalist cover where required, ensuring continuity of learning across the provision.
The role focuses on creating engaging, supportive and structured learning environments, helping learners build confidence, achieve qualifications and work towards long-term progression and resettlement goals.
