Job Description
Become a critical member of the Technical and Customer Services team as a full-time Lab Technician at the Kamloops Pulp Mill. Contribute to quality testing, troubleshooting, and support with incoming materials.
This role involves managing aspects of raw material and product quality, along with environmental and hygiene testing. You will need strong analytical skills and good communication abilities to thrive in a fast-paced lab environment. Experience in laboratory work is a must, preferably within pulp and paper or environmental testing.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Test incoming raw materials for quality assurance
β’ Monitor and ensure final product quality standards
β’ Conduct in-process testing and troubleshooting
β’ Assist in training other mill employees
β’ Perform environmental and hygiene testing regularly
