This permanent position in the Surgical Services department requires a completed Anesthesia Assistant Program Certificate and a minimum of two years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist. You will directly assist during the induction, maintenance, and emergence stages of anesthesia while collaborating with an anesthetist. Your responsibilities will ensure the highest quality of care for our surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in all stages of anesthesia implementation
• Pre-operative care including patient assessments
• Set up and maintain anesthesia equipment
• Administer anesthetic agents as directed
