This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2711000 and is part of the NC ASO, National Guard (ASO-AASF #1/ Manning Document 4141-225). ***** THIS POSITION IS NIGHT SHIFT ***** Responsibilities As a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER, WG-5413-10, you will receive, store, transfer, and distribute bulk petroleum products and provides oversight to lower-graded employees. Validates documentation and fuel received from incoming shipments for proper identification of fuel and examines cargo for proper seals, safety regulations, and environment control systems. Connects grounding wire and hoses and activates pumps, valves, and gages during pumping operation. Takes temperature reading, determine American Petroleum Institute (API) gravity and converts volumes of fuel at standard temperature.
