The Pending Release team serves as the starting point of the collateral release process across all sites. The team is approximately 25 people and is responsible for monitoring shared email inboxes and intaking external requests from financial institutions to release loan and collateral files. The pender validates request forms and requester authorization, completes required system tasks, saves backups, and communicates across sites to ensure requests are routed correctly for processing. Daily volume averages around 20 emails per person, with processing times ranging from 5β10 minutes for simple, single loan requests to up to an hour for complex requests involving large batches or incomplete documentation. This role may involve reaching out to clients to confirm information and handling deescalations.
