Job Summary:
The Front Office Manager is responsible for management and administration of front desk functions for the Downtown Adult Hematology Oncology (AHO) Department at the Upstate Cancer Center. This includes oversight and supervision of check-in, check-out, scheduling, and telephone staff and workflows. Supervision includes orientation of new staff, completing performance programs and evaluations, setting staffing schedules including coordination of vacation and sick leave coverage, holding staff meetings, and evaluating staffing needs. The Manager is responsible for building and editing clinic templates, preparing behavioral agreements and discharges according to policy, resolving day-to-day front end issues in collaboration with other managers and staff as needed. The Manager will ensure efficient and timely flow of patients through the AHO Office in collaboration with physicians, Fellows, APPs, nursing, MOAs, pharmacy staff, back office staff, and administrative leadershi...
