Friday Freestylers (Back2Hockey) Coach

Cambridge City Hockey Club, one of the leading clubs in the East of England, is seeking a Friday Freestylers Coach. This session is essentially “Back to Hockey”. The session takes place on Friday mornings, 9:30-10:45 at Wilberforce Road (CB3 0EQ). It is extremely popular with parents who work from home and those who can fit it into the school run plan. Both men and women take part. Ages range from late 20s to early 70s, with the average player being in their early 40s.

In recent years the players have organised a few friendlies with local clubs. The atmosphere is very positive and the focus is on moving, enjoying the sport and developing the basics.

Our current coach, Andy, has been doing this role for a long time and is keen to continue supporting the initiative but needs some flexibility so he is not present at every session. The proposal is to work together t...
