McInnes Cooper, a leading Canadian law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our Fredericton litigation team. The role involves appearing before courts, tribunals, and engaging in arbitration and mediation to provide comprehensive litigation and dispute‑resolution services.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings at all levels of the Atlantic Provinces, Federal Court, and Supreme Court of Canada.
• Handle administrative and regulatory tribunal appearances along with arbitrations and mediations.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal opinions, and provide advice across a range of civil, commercial, estate, insurance defense, and construction/engineering matters.
• Manage your own files while collaborating with senior team members.
• Maintain current knowledge of statutes, case law, and procedural developments relevant to litigation.
