Food Teacher | Alternative Provision | Swadlincote (DE11) | £32,917 - £51,047 MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (£2,786) | Permanent | September 2026 Start | Full Time
Long Term Futures are working in partnership with an Alternative Provision in Swadlincote (DE11) to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Food Teacher to join their specialist team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and develop a new Food curriculum, including GCSE provision, within a small Alternative Provision setting supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEMH, SEND, and behavioural needs.
The Opportunity:
Lead the development and delivery of a new Food curriculum, including GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
The Academy supports young people who have faced significant barriers to learning, including exclusion from mainstream education.
Create a safe, practical, and inspiring learning environment that promotes independence and life skills
