**Job Description**

The Floor Technician maintains clean, safe, and well-presented floors across a university campus by performing floor stripping, buffing, waxing, and general floor care. This role operates floor care equipment, uses cleaning chemicals safely, and delivers courteous customer service while working in common areas, restrooms, facilities, and dining halls.

**Responsibilities**

+ Strip floors using appropriate methods and equipment to remove old finishes and prepare surfaces for refinishing.
+ Operate buffing machines and other floor care equipment to buff, polish, and maintain various floor types.
+ Apply wax and finishes to floors to achieve a clean, safe, and professional appearance.
