The Regional Floating Pool Technician (Pharmacy Technician 2) will travel on-site and provide coverage and assistance as needed to Pharmacies in Palm Beach County (West Palm, Lantana, Delray, West Boca Raton). The Pharmacy Technician obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information.

**Pharmacy Technician 2 Main Responsibilities:**

+ Work in different areas of pharmacy (Data Entry, Production, Cash Register, Phone calls (inbound and outbound) and other assignments as directed by the pharmacist
+ Retrieve, count, and measure prescription drugs
+ Assist Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of prescription drugs
+ Access, input, and retrieve prescription information from computers
+ Refer physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist
+ Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments
