The Float Pool Phlebotomist is primarily responsible for temporary assignments for unplanned as well as scheduled phlebotomist vacancies. Phlebotomists are responsible for collecting blood specimens using appropriate blood collection equipment according to the Laboratory Specimen Collection Manual and Phlebotomy Procedure Manual.
