**Job Description Summary**
The Lean Manufacturing Specialist will play an integral role in the implementation of the lean strategy at the Norwich, NY site. This role will partner with the organization leadership team at all levels to drive product flow and process improvements that deliver lead time reductions and maximize cash flow.

**Lean Transformation**

+ Assists in the lean transformation within manufacturing cells to improve process quality and create capacity by reducing cycle time, inventory and waste.
+ Exemplifies site lean standards for visual management, 5S, daily management, etc.
+ Facilitation of Kaizen events that impact product flow, production to TAKT, and inventory turns.
+ Teaches, promotes and practices the lean principles and tools. Has a visual presence on the production floor guiding and teaching employees on lean principles and fundamentals.
