Job Description
Responsibilities
- To provide support to Superintendents and Vessel Managers to maintain the duties in the Ship Management Department.
- To coordinate between vessel and shore, suppliers, sub-contractors and maintain timely and cost-effective logistic arrangements.
- Make arrangements of spare parts, services, stores and Lube Oils as advised by SI.
- Issue purchase orders, process invoices and update related records and details.
- Support in monitoring vessel budget and preparing variance reports.
- Support SI for preparing vessel annual reports, docking reports and other reports as required.
- Monitor Certificate and class survey status, circulate report and remind SI for renewal.
- Dispatch and follow up of vessel mail and courier delivery for documents and certificates.
- Other support duties related to SMD as required by SI and Managers.
