About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter & Turner to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision machining, mechanical fitting, and assembly of components for heavy equipment. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, minimal rework, efficient material usage, and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine components to exact tolerances using lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment
• Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment of components (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, etc.)
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
• Conduct inspections and quality checks before releasing work
• Maintain workshop machinery, tools, and equipment
