Summary About the Position: Serves as Firefighter (Basic Life Support). Perform initial patient assessment and physical examinations. Establish communications with the receiving facility. Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls. Combat fires and rescue personnel on ships and vessels. Perform duties as a Hazardous Materials Technician. Identify and classify unknown hazardous materials. Perform vessel and structural inspections. Inspect ammunition vessels for compliance with safety regulations.
