Responsibilities Serves as a financial specialist to the CMO on issues such as budgeting techniques, use of financial management products, resources distribution, program priorities and development of financial plans. Administers the Defense Travel System (DTS) program and reconciles financial discrepancies. Participates in the preparation of the financial plan which allocates appropriate funds to activities based on an analysis of activity budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload, and approved funding. Provides financial services to include financial management, trend analysis, cost performance, budget guidance and advice to management.
