Job Description

Based in Edmonton, our client is an established real estate firm that has been in business for over a decade and is currently looking to add a Financial Reporting Manager to their team. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA and has 5+ years of accounting experience.

About the Position
Reporting to the Controller, the financial reporting manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.

  • Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and in accordance with ASPE requirements.

  • Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and working papers prepared by the accounting team.

  • Coordinate the collection and consolidation of financial information across multiple entities.

  • Monitor compliance with lender agreements and prepare required covenant calculations and reporting packages.
