Finance Manager’s role is responsible for ensuring the process of timely and accurate financial reporting for all WSP entities, including period‑end management accounts, year‑end statutory accounts, reporting on budgets and forecasts. In addition to reporting other key responsibilities include compliance with company secretarial and tax matters as well as ensuring compliance with internal controls and local delegation of authority (DOA).

Responsibilities

• Period-end reporting:
  • Accurate and timely reporting of balance sheet accounts in line with WSP Group reporting timetable, including the preparation and review of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee general ledger integrity and financial month‑end close processes.
  • Review accountant’s journals and preparation of any further/adjusting period‑end journals.
  • Prepare and analyse key financial ratios.
