The Financial Analyst/Database Coordinator formulates and maintains the hospital's Charge Description Master (CDM) in order to optimize revenue generation, maintain compliance with third party payer requirements, as well as governmental billing regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring that all items and services such as procedures, evaluations, supplies and pharmaceuticals are described, coded and in compliance with regulatory standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


+ Associate's degree in Business or Healthcare field required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

+ Minimum 2 years of database experience in a healthcare setting.

+ Experience with Cerner/Soarian Financials, Millennium, Med Series 4 preferred.

+ Proficient Excel skills.

+ Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
