Reference: CPT -LO-1 A world class fuel refinery has a contract position available for a Financial Analyst at their premises in Milnerton. The purpose of the role is to provide cost reporting and financial analysis. Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities: Produce monthly cost reporting & coordinate cost review meetings with cost centre owners. Perform monthly variance analysis of actual vs budget on operating expenses. Prepares and presents divisional operating expenses financial reports and variance explanations as required by Refinery Leadership Team at monthly governance meeting. Provide financial guidance to refinery business unit through accounting policy & IFRS interpretation and application, tax implications of proposed actions, capex vs. operating expenses decisions etc. Participate in special projects as directed by Manager, Refinery Finance.
