Financial Accountant

My client within the Financial Services sector has a 6 month contract opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their team. The ideal individual will be someone who has previous experience within the financial services sector, is results driven, and able to collaborate well with others.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation, review and submission of financial results of property subsidiaries.
2. Opening fund controls/journals including intercompany related journals.
3. Assist with preparation and submission of regulatory returns of property subsidiaries.
4. Confirmation of intergroup/related party balances.
5. Completion of annual financial statements for property subsidiaries in accordance with accounting standards.
6. Complete statutory returns for retirement funds.
7. Assist with ad hoc financial tasks.
