My Local Government client is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance, the role of Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing professional financial support and advice as well as providing effective leadership to the accountancy team ensuring a high level of service is delivered.

Day to day your role will include:

• Supporting in the preparation of the Final Accounts to an extremely high quality and within all reporting deadlines including all necessary financial statements working papers and returns.
• Supporting in the preparation of the annual budget, financial plan and 3 year budget including all necessary budget working papers.
