About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function supporting the Formula 1 Madrid project at MATCH Hospitality. Based in Valencia, this role will oversee the financial operations of the project, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, compliance, and effective business partnering across the organisation.

The Financial Controller will manage the day-to-day finance activities, supervise junior finance team members, and play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decision‑making within a fast-paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
• Deliver variance analysis, forecasting, and financial performance insights
• Support budgeting and reforecasting processes
