Financial Controller – Cape Town

Lead the financial controllership function for our Jersey operations, ensuring high quality, timely financial information and a robust control environment to support investment in technology and shared services.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Close – Own local month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports for the Board, private equity sponsor and lenders.
• Policies, Controls & Compliance – Develop, implement and maintain IFRS and Group accounting policies, design and monitor internal controls over financial reporting, remediate control gaps and drive a culture of control discipline.
• Compliance – Ensure tax, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met in partnership with Tax and Legal Lead and conduct technical accounting assessments for complex transactions.
