Job Description
The Finance Assistant shall provide assistance and support to Finance Team through performing clerical tasks, financial document filing and monitoring, payment processing, preparation of journal entries and recording of transactions, assistance in month-end reconciliations, preparation of tax computations, communication with internal and external stakeholders and other related duties in accordance with the companyβs financial accounting and finance policies.
Specifically, he/she shall be responsible for the following:
- Process supplier/vendor invoices, employee payment endorsements, site fund projections and other payment obligations
- Prepare payment vouchers, printing, and issuance of check payments
- Prepare journal entries for recording of expense and other disbursements
- Prepare journal entries for recording cash receipts and other financial transactions
- Handle communication with vendors, bank representatives, government agencies...
