The Finance Analyst is to provide analytical, reporting, planning and compliance support to the Finance Business Partnering team within the Earth and Environment Business. The Finance Analyst will build trusted relationships with Finance Business Partners, Operations Executives and other functional groups in order to improve insight generation, simplification and effectiveness of reporting.

**Business performance reporting**

+ Build, deliver and maintain consistent, accurate and timely financial and operational reports for the business, using the best possible medium (Excel, Power BI, etc)
+ Monitor and gain insight from exceptions reports to anticipate financial risk (e.g. margin erosion trend, missing sell rates, and projects approaching contracted value) and escalate issues to the appropriate teams
+ Support the monitoring and control of operational expenditure, including liasing with functional teams within the wider WSP business (e.g. Workplace)
