Summary This position is located within the Health Information Management Section of Patient Business Services at Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center. The duties and responsibilities are performed throughout the facility including all administrative and clinical areas involved with the service in a multi-level care facility. Responsibilities The incumbent will provide professional and technical expertise to the ambulatory care center regarding implementation and maintenance of scanning in work units within HIMS/PBS and other services in the ambulatory care center utilizing any integrated systems which import images. Major duties include but are not limited to: Prepares and sorts documents and records for scanning, ensuring that documents are ready for processing.
