Job Description
Pay Rate: $34.57 per hour.
Field Technician/Engineer Roles:
Field Technician/Engineer Roles:
- Knowledge of installation and configuration on Ciena 6500
- Ability to run, terminate, and dress DC power & ground cabling (2awg maximum size, typically 6awg, 8awg, and 10awg at most locations)
- Runs utilize existing ladder rack and must balance quality expectations with existing site conditions (our Field Engineer will be able to provide relevant guidance and make judgement calls as needed).
- Insulated tools required (can be provided if otherwise great tech)
- Ability to terminate DC power cabling in energized BDFB
- Customer has zero downtime requirement. Insulative barriers provided to the team as PPE
- Ability to run, terminate, and dress CAT5, T1 (16 pair), and alarm (4 pair) cable
