Field Service Technician - Nisku, AB

Job Location: Nisku, AB (In person)

The Role

This position is primarily focused on working on drilling rigs and related equipment in the field, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in remote environments. Support for shop‑based work will be required from time to time. The role requires travel across Western Canada and the ability to work independently while representing Veritech.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, generators, hydraulic systems, and drilling rig equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics on rig systems and components.
• Troubleshoot generator output and control/synchronization systems.
• Create and manage work orders for equipment tracking.
• Support preventative maintenance and breakdown response in the field.
