About the Role
Our Paediatric Surgery department at Starship Childrens Hospital provides surgical management for children (usually up to the age of about 15 years) living within the greater Auckland and Northland regions as well as children with complex paediatric surgical conditions New Zealand wide and for the Pacific Basin. The Department of Paediatric Surgery cares for children requiring thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary and GI surgery, trauma care, oncological surgery, general paediatric surgery and urology as well as neonatal surgery. It has an active minimally invasive surgery programme.
