JOB SUMMARY:



Under the close supervision of the Farm Veterinary Health Manager, provides various services and assistance relating to medical care, health maintenance, illness & sickness recuperation, injury treatment, castration, and other administrative functions such as recording and report preparation



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :



Support the Veterinary Health Team in the maintenance of proper health care of farm animals in support of the farm’s productivity and quality goals.



Formulates protocols for trials and experiments through product trials from Purchasing or as per instructions for improvements and/or alternatives.



Monitors trials/experiments to ensure compliance with set protocols; ensures proper use of drugs/medications and checks consumption of vaccines.



Assists in the development of a system approach in pig production, research, and development.
