Job Description
Our client Bolton council is looking for a Family Support Worker to join their Referral & Assessment team.
Main Duties
To contribute to risk assessments and protecting children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse
To plan and record interventions effectively, to support and contribute to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams
To deliver quality interventions within the Framework for Action parenting capacity guidance
To offer support and evidence-based intervention around child development using EYFS (Early Years Framework Strategy) guidance and behaviour management strategies
To work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own home, where appropriate
To communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies ensuring a seamless service for children and families, managing, and providing information to support effective decision-making
