Role and Facility Information

The six physicians of Vancouver Island's West Coast are looking to recruit a physician to join our highly rewarding, multi-clinic group practice. We provide longitudinal full scope primary care services to residents of the West Coast via multiple clinics – Ahousat Medical Clinic, Tonquin Medical Center (Tofino), Ucluelet Medical Center, Hitacu Health Center, and Ty Histanis Health Center – as well as Emergency Room and inpatient care at Tofino General Hospital.

Clinics are well established, with a fully integrated EMR. We typically work 3-4 clinic days per week and approximately 6-8 on-calls per month at Tofino General Hospital. The hospital is a ten-bed acute care facility with an Emergency Room that can be exceptionally busy and lucrative due to tourism. Summer weekends are covered by locums, and locum vacation relief through the year is typically easy to secure, given the desirability of our location.
