**Job Description Summary**
Test, commission, troubleshoot, service, maintain and upgrade the General Electric equipment and its components. Support Service & Design requirements in active service projects and ‘Flexible AC Transmission Systems’ (FACTS) installation in support of customer and business requirements. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ‘Variable Frequency Transformer’ (VFT) and FACTS technology in the U.S. Undertake detailed design reviews and risk assessment of the engineering deliverables submitted by all subcontractors, internal and external. Serve as single point of contact for technical issues for the customer and project manager. Provide critical feedback to the Project Engineering Team to ensure technical quality, feasibility, completeness, and constructability of the design.
