**Job Description**

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the safe, clean, and efficient operation of a hospital facility by performing routine building maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks. This role focuses on basic electrical and plumbing work, general handyman duties, and ongoing inspections of the facility to identify and address issues promptly.

**Responsibilities**

+ Conduct daily walkthroughs of hospital grounds and interior spaces to assess the condition of functional systems and identify malfunctions or needed repairs.
+ Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacing lightbulbs and removing or installing general light fixtures.
+ Perform minor plumbing maintenance, such as repairing or replacing leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices.
