Safely performs journeyman level tasks in the construction, maintenance, alteration and repair of fixtures, equipment, structures, buildings, and built-in components for Texas Tech facilities. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs work to complete and assist with maintenance, repair and operational duties of building systems on campus and associated equipment. Areas of work include construction, electrical, alarm systems, elevator systems, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
