Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant / Support

We're working with a number of welcoming Wigan primary schools who are looking for exceptional SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs.

This is not a general TA role.

I am specifically looking for individuals who:

• Have hands-on experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, SEMH, speech & language, or complex needs)
• Understand behaviour, emotional regulation, and building trust
• Can stay calm, patient and consistent even on the toughest days
• Are proactive and use their own initiative (not waiting to be told what to do)

You might have worked as a:

• SEND TA
• Support worker / care worker
• Nursery practitioner with additional needs experience
• Youth worker or in SEMH settings
