Job Description
Utilize your estimating skills at Aecon Utilities, where we focus on smarter, safer project delivery. As an Estimator, you will manage project financials and drive efficiency.
In this pivotal role, the Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager and be tasked with generating precise cost estimates to support Aecon's goal of becoming Canada’s #1 utility construction provider. Your expertise will guide project planning, budgeting, and risk management while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive cost estimates for awarded projects
• Review specifications and perform quantity take-offs
• Communicate pricing and estimate details with clients
• Monitor project financial performance and forecasts
• Train new estimating staff as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Civil, Construction, or Electrical
• Minimum 5 years in utility estimating roles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and industry estimating softwar...
