Overview

An executive in Finance Services shall assist the Accountant in performing the functions of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, intercompany transactions, bank and cash management roles, handle audit queries and other administrative matters.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Functions: Responsible for making journal entries in the HITS system for preparation of monthly accounts. Assists the Accountant on the finalization of the monthly financial statements comprising the income statement, balance sheet and trial balance. Prepare supporting schedules for items in the financial statements. Ensure the accuracy of the GL balances with the sub-ledgers in the system. Ensure that intercompany balance reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, checked and submitted to the Accountant for review.
