Established in 1922, the Fruit & Vegetable Growers of Canada (FVGC) is an Ottawa‑based, voluntary, not‑for‑profit national association that represents the voices of fruit and vegetable growers across Canada. The FVGC advocates for the fresh produce sector, championing issues to promote healthy, safe, and sustainable food. Committed to industry growth and success, the FVGC plays a pivotal role in advancing the interests of its members, advocating for labour, crop protection, environment, trade, and other key priorities.
Job Summary
Reporting to the President, the Executive Director (ED) will execute a bold and compelling vision that drives the growth of the Canadian fruit and vegetable sector. The ED will lead a team of 10 staff, steward a budget of approximately $1.5 million, and align the membership on key priorities.
