Job Title: Excavator Operator

Responsibilities


+ Operate track excavators and related heavy equipment on utility construction sites

+ Perform excavation, material handling, loading/unloading, and rigging

+ Execute deep excavations using trench boxes, shoring systems, and sheeting

+ Maintain safe excavation practices, including protection of personnel and existing utilities

+ Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow all site safety requirements

+ Work closely with field supervision to complete work safely and efficiently

Requirements

+ 5+ years of excavator or heavy equipment operating experience

+ Ability to read plans and adapt to field conditions

+ Strong safety awareness and team-oriented mindset
