About the Role & Team

The Event Specialist | Attendee Acquisition will play a key role in driving IDC’s eventaudience strategy through data‑led attendee recruitment, end‑to‑end event execution, and stakeholder engagement. This role will require strong project management, audience development expertise, and an understanding of event marketing dynamics to ensure each IDC event delivers exceptional participation quality, relevance, and experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the complete attendee recruitment lifecycle – from strategy to outreach, conversion, and onsite engagement.
• Oversee and maintain data accuracy, segmentation, and audience insights to improve recruitment quality.
• Lead outreach campaigns targeting senior IT and business decision‑makers across industries.
• Recruit and manage advisory council members and end‑user speakers, ensuring diversity and thought leadership alignment.
