Position Overview

Receiving Associates work as part of a team to unload merchandise from carriers and check the quantity and quality of merchandise. They must record Rough Goods Receipt (RGR) or Detail Goods Receipt (DGR) and enter incoming merchandise information into the store’s system (e.g., FirstPhone). All Associates are required to be licensed to use powered lift equipment (electric pallet jack, reach truck, order puller, forklift) for unloading trucks and moving freight from receiving to designated staging areas.
