Salary: £35,000 to £50,000
Location: Near Camberley, Surrey
Our client is a successful CNC Precision Engineering company located near Camberley, Surrey and they are looking for a Planning & Estimating Engineer. This is in an inhouse role, salary £35,000 to £50,000 plus benefits.
As Planning & Estimating Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Preparation of estimates and quotations.
* Following up quotations.
* Contract Reviews to ensure adherence to customer requirements.
* Sales order processing.
* Creation of parts, BOM’s and planning on the production control system.
* Creation of works orders, purchase orders and subcontract documentation.
* Placing Purchase Orders for raw material.
* Expediting the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
* Liaising with Production and Quality to provide customers with up-to-date progress information.
