**Description**

**Overview**
Adult English Language and Literacy (AELL) is the direct service provider of ESOL and adult literacy instruction for The New York Public Library (NYPL). Professional teachers facilitate free instruction to adult patrons in reading, writing, speaking and listening from a 0 to 8th grade level in both in-person and online classes. Instruction is offered in three, 10-week cycles and one, 4-week summer cycle.

**_*Please note this position is for our summer cycle of classes which lasts 4 weeks and takes place between July and August.*_**

**_Must be available to work at Hunts Point Library (Bronx) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm_**
