Job Description
Position Overview
As a Senior Equipment Specialist, you will act as a primary technical advisor to senior military/civilian leadership, program managers, and maintenance technicians. You will lead technical investigations, oversee complex aircraft modification programs, optimize sustainment strategies, and collaborate across multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure the combat effectiveness and operational readiness of critical aircraft systems.
Primary Responsibilities: Senior Technical Advisory
+ Serve as a technical advisor to senior leaders and maintenance technicians in maintenance, operation, and training for the assigned weapon system and associated equipment.
+ Advise technicians on methods of resolving unusual troubleshooting problems and repairing difficult system malfunctions.
+ Conduct research and analysis to resolve equipment problems with long-term, Air Force-wide implications...
